Mary seems to rise effortlessly, her arms extended and her mantle fluttering in the wind. But at the same time her physicality and genuine weightiness is expressed by the grimace on the angel lifting her foot.

The apostle on the far right stands with his back to the viewer and directs one's attention to the rising body.
